A farmer’s fair cum farmer scientist interaction programme was organised on dt. 26.04.2022 on the occasion of Azadi Ki Amrut Mahostav. The theme of the programme is “Kisan Bhagidari Prathamikta Hamari”. Live telecast of the programme was viewed by the farmers & other officials. Later on Seminar, farmer scientist interaction, Exhibition are conducted with 224 nos of farmers & farm women at KVK, Ganjam-I campus. The Block Agriculture Officer, Block Veterinary Officer, asst. Fishery officer & NGO representatives attended the programme. In this programme different actionable points viz. Natural farming, Use of Bio-pesticide, Bio-fortified vegetables, soil health management were discussed. Farmers also shared their experiences on Natural farming. In the end of the programmes farmers visited the exhibition stalls.
